We need new contributors!

As some of you might have noticed, I have been absent from DeviantArt lately. However, even being away, the group I founded - CreativeDigitalArt - has being in my top priorities and I have managed to administrate it helped by some few contributors – who I’d like to express my deep gratitude.

The group has being growing a lot, which is very good. However, this very large growing also demanded a large number of people to run the group. Some of the contributors (the people in charge to check the submission, sort them out, verify if they meet the rules, etc…) hasn’t being active at all. There is no blame here, this is the kind of work that demands a lot of time and everyone of us have a life outside DeviantArt and other matters to take care. Unfortunately, it’s time for us to keep just the contributors that really can be active in the group.

So we are opening places for new contributors. If you would like to join us and have some time to work with us, just let us know by posting in the comments section of this journal.

There are quite a few rules you need to agree to follow if you want to become a contributor:

- The CreativeDigitalArt is not an group for elite only, we accept art from artists of all levels, from beginner to expert. So a deviation can’t be reject based on your personal liking, but only if it doesn’t meet some of the group’s rules. Exception for photomanipulations that are clearly no photomanipulation at all (hue and saturation changes only and things like that) and for the favorites (which must be based on your personal liking).

- When a contributor doesn’t accept a deviation because it doesn’t follow the rules, he/she needs to inform the artist by making a comment in the submission process why it is being denied.

So, with new contributors we hope to solve the problem that, sometimes, a member has to wait long time to be accepted or to have their art displayed in the group’s gallery.
